Jared Fabac
I currently serve as the Lead Pastor at One City Church alongside my wife, Danielle, who plays a vital role in various ministry capacities. With a unique blend of professional counseling experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and pastoral insight, my passion is helping individuals grow authentically into their God-given callings—not by merely telling people what they want to hear, but by truly connecting with their hearts and guiding them toward the great purpose God has for their lives.
Before fully committing to ministry, I spent over a decade successfully launching and scaling two marketing companies, where I discovered a deep joy in helping people achieve their highest potential. This journey reinforced my conviction that meaningful leadership involves genuine, heart-to-heart relationships.
In my counseling career, I've earned certifications in Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy, Substance Abuse and Addiction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Temperament Therapy, and Crisis and Abuse Therapy. My background in mental health deeply influences my preaching and teaching, as I regularly integrate psychological insights into my messages. Additionally, I have contributed articles and case studies to the National Association of Christian Counselors and hold a Clinical Pastoral Counselor license.
In ministry, Danielle and I feel a strong calling to create an atmosphere in God’s church where everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, can experience the freedom and restoration offered through the grace of Jesus Christ.
Alongside pastoral leadership, I hold certifications as a Speaker, Trainer, and Coach with the John Maxwell Team, and I'm actively involved in international strategies aimed at fostering peace in underdeveloped regions. I am also Maxwell DISC Certified, a Certified Youth Facilitator, and a Certified Executive Leadership Coach with GiANT Worldwide.
Furthermore, I currently serve as Director of the East Region for Compassion Network, overseeing strategic leadership and initiatives aimed at saving, freeing, restoring, and fulfilling lives through local churches.
Academically, I hold a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Clinical Counseling, with active memberships in the National Christian Counselors Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education as a Practitioner. Additionally, I am proud to have served our country as a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Danielle and I have four wonderful daughters, and we currently reside in Virginia Beach.
I’ve always dreamed big, wanted to make something of my life, and deeply cared about people. I always felt I needed to bring joy into the rooms I walked into.
And once God grabbed a hold of me, I decided to make it my mission.
I was born and raised in a small town called Erie, Pennsylvania. I’ve always dreamed big, wanted to make something of my life, and deeply cared about people. I always felt I needed to bring joy into the rooms I walked into.
And once God grabbed a hold of me, I decided to make it my mission.
I do operate a powerful and super rich newsletter that I share with a very exclusive group of people who happen to stumble across it. It's called the "Examined" newsletter where I share extremely raw and powerful insight and perspectives on things such as leadership, prophesy, church growth, culture, current events and whole lot more. I also give some incredibly private previews of my latest book projects in that group. If you're interested...you found it.
